B.O.Y.A. Award by INTERIOR DESIGN MAGAZINE

Recipients of the INTERIOR DESIGN MAGAZINE BEST OF THE YEAR AWARD (BOYA) FOR FALLING STICKS ARCHITECTURAL LIGHTING INSTALLATION

Robert Van Antwerp, and Lana Lenar of zeroLUX Lighting Design pose with Charles and Randall

December 4, 2014– Conceived by Pavarini Design and developed in tandem with zeroLUX Lighting Design, the fixture was created since the glass roof of the atrium would not support a chandelier. To contrast the turn-of-the-century structure, it spans the balconies on aircraft cable, providing consistent light quality throughout the space. Fitted with LED assemblies, the lighted cylinders are designed to last 50,000 hours and require no maintenance besides dusting, for which a tool was made.
