In addition to his time with the Designer’s Lighting Forum, Charles serves as Chairman of the Designer’s Committee for the esteemed Kips Bay Designer Showhouse. An ardent philanthropist, he has spearheaded fundraising events for the Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club of New York, Broadway Cares-Equity Fights AIDS, the March of Dimes, the Starlight Foundation, the ASID Metro Chapter, and Susan G. Komen For the Cure. Most recently, Charles designed and installed a room for the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island, which debuted his revolutionary new endeavor: Chromatherapy, Healing through Color and Light.
