Built in 1908 by Clinton and Russell Architects for William Waldorf Astor, the Apthorp is one of New York's Premiere Landmark Buildings. It is recognized as one of the most distinguished and classic residential buildings in New York City
 
Charles Pavarini III Design Associates  is currently redesigning the Apthorp's Historic and Classic Apartment Homes in collaboration with BP Architects. The firm is renovating select apartments, 2 model homes, as well as all public areas, interior and exterior.  2 MODEL APARTMENT HOMES OPENING FALL 2008.
